Chirayu Dongre is the designated counselor for international LGBTQ+ students at the ISSS office at the University of Minnesota. He advises and counsels students on F-1 student visa issues, as well as on personal, cultural, and academic concerns.

Chirayu is of Indian origin but grew up in Kenya. He arrived in the United States as an immigrant while a high school student. He received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology at the University of Minnesota. Chirayu has worked with very diverse student populations, including LGBTQIA students, throughout his career.
