Recreation
University Recreation and Wellness offers a variety of ways to exercise and improve your wellbeing in its state-of-the-art facilities. There are gyms on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. Use the cardio and strength equipment, take group exercise classes like yoga or Zumba, or swim some laps.
If you like playing sports, check out the University's intramural leagues. We have teams in basketball, soccer, tennis, Ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, and more. It's a great way to make friends and stay fit!
Need a bike, tent, or kayak? Rent from the Center for Outdoor Adventure. The center also offers guided outdoor trips if you want to try paddleboarding for a day, take a weekend canoe trip, or take a week long backpacking trip and meet new friends. Want to try rock climbing? Check out the rock wall, community climbs days, and learn more climbing skills with climbing clinics.
