Congratulations on your admission to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities! The UMN is one of the nation's top public research universities.
Students who are admitted must confirm their enrollment. When you confirm your enrollment, you are declaring your intent to attend the University of Minnesota, and we will hold a place for you in the incoming class.

Confirm Your Enrollment
To declare your intent to enroll and reserve your place in the incoming class, you must confirm your enrollment through the Office of Admissions.
Request Your Visa Document
After you confirm your enrollment, submit an Undergraduate New Student I-20 Request through MyISSS. To login to MyISSS and access the I-20 request form, you must first claim your UMN account.
Once you have completed these steps, ISSS can begin the process of issuing you an I-20 document to apply for an F-1 visa. Your I-20 will be sent to you electronically to your UMN email address, along with helpful information about becoming a new student at the University of Minnesota.
If you will need a J-1 visa to study at the University of Minnesota as an undergraduate degree-seeking student (this is rare), email [email protected] for assistance to request a DS-2019 document for your J-1 visa application.
