Cross-Cultural Leadership Retreat

Cross Cultural Leadership RetreatDesigned for international students who want to learn to become more effective in international environments. This highly interactive, high-energy retreat becomes a living laboratory of what it takes to work with people from vastly different cultures.

Culture Corps

Culture CorpsBrings international perspectives into classrooms and onto campus through a series of either faculty or international student initiated projects.



Graduate Student Internships and Counseling Practicum

Graduate Student Internships University of Minnesota graduate students in the departments of Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology (CSPP) and Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD) complete a counseling practicum or advising internship at International Student and Scholar Services by providing supervised counseling or advising services to international students.


International Student Advisory Board

The International Student Advisory Board works as a consultative body sponsored by ISSS and OSA. The members contribute to enhance the international student experience within the University of Minnesota.

Student AmbassadorsOffers insight to prospective and new students of what life is like as a current University of Minnesota international student.

MATCH Program Facilitates the opportunity for current University of Minnesota international students to share their experience of studying at Minnesota with students in their home countries.
