Starting March 6, 2023, F-1 students who already have an OPT or STEM OPT application (Form I-765) pending with USCIS may add Premium Processing (Form I-907) to their application. The Premium Processing fee is an additional $1,500 and USCIS guarantees you will receive a decision within 30 calendar days of the office receiving the fee. What does pending mean? You have already submitted your OPT or STEM OPT application to USCIS and you have a Receipt Number.
Starting April 3, 2023, F-1 students will be able to file a Premium Processing application together with a new OPT or STEM OPT application.
