Barragan
Sam Barragan is the Welcome Center Manager at ISSS. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and recently completed her M.A. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development with a focus on Comparative and International Development Education at the University of Minnesota. Sam brings a strong background in international education and youth programming, having taught English in Spain for two years and served as a research fellow in Nepal. She has also supported federal exchange initiatives, deepening her passion for cross-cultural connection and global learning. Sam is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for international students and scholars at the U of M.
