Eric advises students and scholars regarding F and J status issues and offers academic, career, and personal counseling. Having earned an M.A. in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University, Eric has served students at ISSS since 2002. Eric brings a student-centered approach to his work and encourages students to get outside of their comfort zones, while receiving needed support, to maximize personal and professional growth. From 1995–1997 Eric worked with Peace Corps in the Central Pacific Republic of Kiribati. Eric’s experience learning, working, and traveling in different countries fuels his passion for international higher education, where he is enriched by serving students from diverse backgrounds in the name of equity for all.
