The University of Minnesota maintains several bilateral exchange agreements with universities from around the world. These agreements include opportunities for a limited number of students to “exchange” and study at the partner university. Students from exchange partner universities study at the University of Minnesota as non-degree students and receive extensive pre-departure and on-site support.
Financial benefits vary according to the agreement in place with the partner institution. These vary from a full scholarship program to payment of full non-resident tuition and fees. Students must be nominated by a partner institution on an active exchange agreement in order to take advantage of exchange financial benefits. No applications will be considered without a nomination from a student's home university. Students should check with the international office at their university for more information.
