On July 17, the Department of Homeland Security published a new rule that will have sweeping impacts on both current and new F and J visa holders. As a result, the information on this website regarding F and J visa status is only valid through September 15, 2026, when the new rule goes into effect. ISSS is working to understand the impact of the rule and will update the website as we are able.
