New international students can get a FREE, one-time pass to take Light Rail Transit or Metro Buses. You will need to show the pass (either on paper or on your phone) when you board public transportation.
A quick, easy way to get from the airport to the University's East Bank campus:
- Take the Blue Line light rail to U.S. Bank Stadium station in downtown Minneapolis.
- Transfer to the Green Line toward St. Paul.
- Get off at the East Bank station.
