Allison is an International Scholar Advisor at ISSS working primarily with international faculty, staff, and scholars at the University on H-1B and Permanent Residence cases. She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Peace and Justice Studies from Wartburg College. She also earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Prior to starting at ISSS in 2024, Allison worked with several immigration law non-profits during her time as a law student, including the University of Minnesota Law School's Detainee Rights Clinic. After earning her J.D., she was a judicial law clerk in the criminal division of the Ramsey County District Court. She then practiced employment immigration law at a firm in Minneapolis.
