Emily is an international advisor and serves as an Academic and Career Coach at the Center for Academic Planning and Exploration. Before starting at ISSS in 2021, Emily worked with international students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also received her Bachelor's degree in World Languages Education and Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis - Global Higher Education focus. 

Emily's career in international education has led her to study abroad in Spain, teach high school English in Chile, teach high school Spanish in Wisconsin, and now she helps international students achieve their academic aspirations. Emily's work is centered on the international student experience and she strives to make sure that her students thrive once they are on campus. 

In her free time, Emily loves to cook, travel, bike, and explore the Twin Cities area!
