Emily joined the International Student and Scholar Services team in October 2021. She manages the mandatory new student ISSS Check-in and Welcome Session program to support new international students from the time of admission until the start of their first semester. Prior to joining ISSS, Emily worked for the Alaska state government and as a paralegal in immigration law. Emily earned her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys running, knitting, riding her bike, and baking bread.
