What is a Welcome Session?

The Welcome Session is a recurring Global Gopher Experiences event; the content of all sessions is the same. The Welcome Session includes presented content from ISSS, the Graduate School, and current UMN students. Topics include:

• Student Life at the UMN
• Key Immigration-related Reminders
• Maximizing your Graduate Student Experience
• Q&A with questions submitted by attendees (through this form!)

There will also be time for you to connect and socialize with peers through a social activity prior to the start of the presentation.
